At Islwyn Boarding Kennels we believe that your dog needs mental stimulation as well as the fundamental care package we offer.

Time spent in kennels should be as stress free as possible for your dog, we endeavour to reduce your dog's anxiety by treating them as individuals and allowing routine and compassion to be part of your dog's stay as well as fun.

With owner's consent, functional and recreational walks are included in your dog's daily routine. We have the option of lovely woodland and mountains walks along with access to three acres of secure fields in which to exercise your pet. The fields have been specially modified to ensure the safety and security of your pet while exercising 
If your dog likes their own food and has an acquired taste please bring this in with you and we will ensure that your dog sticks to their own diet.  Alternatively, we will feed the dogs with our dry dog food. Please be aware that a change in diet can cause some pets to have an upset tummy.

Please feel free to bring along any toys belonging to your pet. No blankets or bedding are required as these will be supplied.

Special Care Dogs

We are happy to administer any medication, ointments or special dietary requirements that your dog needs. We have experience of working with deaf dogs; insulin dependent and certain breed of dogs that have breed specific ailments. All medication must be clearly labelled with dosage and initialled by the owner, with clear storage instructions.
